Fuente was founded in 1992 by today's
CEO and owner Paul Warmerdam, an enthusiastic top professional with
decades of career experience within hair care, built up of
management functions at various multinationals. His Fuente idea was
born while visiting a fantastic nature reserve at Laguna de Fuente
de Piedra in Andalusia, Spain. He had already been dreaming for
some time of his own, unique hair care line. Here in the lush
aquatic landscape of Laguna de Fuente de Piedra his dream took on
ever clearer shape.
Splendidly glittering lakes, elegantly strutting flamingos and exotically aromatic plant varieties inspired him to come up with a concept that was unique at the time (beginning of the 90s): a hair care line on a natural and organic basis with high wellness content in a very luxurious finish. His dream: Everything that makes nature in its purest form so very beautiful should be a feature of Fuente too. Not merely the content, but also the presentation and the packaging should radiate the high quality of the Fuente products. There would be hair colorings, shampoos, hair styling products and a lot more besides…. And the dream became reality: a chic brand, exclusive and pampering, created for people with a heart for nature and offering them comfort and the ultimate in luxury.
